Delete your Tellora account

This page explains how to delete your account and associated data in the Tellora app, developed by MEDIN Software.

Delete from the app

1. Open the Tellora app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap “Delete account” and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you can't access the app

From the email address registered to your account, send an email with the subject “Account deletion request” to info@gettellora.com. After verifying your identity, we will delete your account within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

• Your account details: email address, name and sign-in credentials (Google, Apple or email).
• Your profile and preferences: interests, goals, language and notification settings.
• Your listening and reading progress, streaks and points.
• Your notes, highlights, book reviews, saved items and lists.
• Your push notification registrations and referral links.

Data that is kept

• Subscription and purchase records: kept for legal accounting and tax obligations, with the link to your account removed.
• Usage statistics (session and screen view records) and security/abuse records: kept with the link to your identity removed, for aggregate analysis and security.
• Feedback you sent: kept with the link to your name and account removed.

Third-party services

If you want records containing personal information held by our analytics and payment providers (PostHog, RevenueCat, Adjust) deleted, email us at the address above and we will forward your request. These records are also deleted when the providers' retention periods expire.

If you have a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid further charges, cancel it in the subscription settings of the store you used.
